The exhibition has been staged in support of Prince Albert’s Monaco Foundation to raise public awareness in China about the threatened disappearance of a large number of species.
Visitors experience life-sized statues depicting the world’s most loved and endangered animals, all located in their natural habitats, across four distinct zones. A one hundred page book has been written to support the exhibition which will be touring 20 cities in China over the next three years and is expected to attract over 1 million visitors.
All the statues were built by Bright Bricks, a British company based in Hampshire, England. China is an important market for Bricklive and the scale and ambition of the exhibition reflects a new understanding amongst the public of the need to preserve and protect their environment as China establishes itself as one of the world’s foremost economies.
